Global experience in diamond drilling.

Falcon Drilling Mongolia LLC

Our disciplined crew, wealth of experience and safety focus, are the three main reasons why Falcon Drilling Mongolia LLC is one of Mongolia's recognized diamond drilling service providers.

In November 2005 Falcon Drilling expanded operations and opened a new division in Mongolia with 15 employees.  Drilling operations started in February 2006 with 15 more employees and one diamond drill.  Currently we are operating with eight diamond drills and employing over 100 field and office employees, contracting and working with more than 50 major and minor local contractors and suppliers.  Most importantly we have successfully completed over 70 different projects around Mongolia  Meeting our client's demands and providing a high level of satisfaction.

Our upper management's experience has been the driving force behind the company's strategies and will continue to provide the basis for its continued success in the future.

Our specialized drills are designed and manufactured in Canada and Mongolia by our own employees.  They focus on high quality control to ensure maximum reliability and minimum down time as well as to suit a variety of different projects.

Our design objectives include:
- Lightweight portable specialized drills to suit core size and depth requirements.
- Minimize downtime due to field proven design.
- Superior support with large parts inventory.
- Easy relocation in difficult terrain using skid mounts and truck mounts.
- Use in environmentally sensitive areas.

We provide F-3000 and BBS-56 diamond drill rigs available for all seasons.
The F3000 drill has a capacity of B, N, H and P core size and will typically reach depths of 1000 meters with N bits.
The BBS-56 drill has a capacity of B, N, H and P core size and will typically reach a depth of 1100 meters with N bits.

Health and Safety Objective.

All of Falcon Drilling’s operations are governed by our corporate Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) program and policy manuals. Our health and safety goal is to eliminate work related accidents, injuries and illness, and promote health and safety in every client related task. Our HS& E program includes inspections to identify and eliminate unsafe working conditions or practices and control health hazards. Falcon Drilling also promotes a Safety Incentive program encouraging the active participation of all employees.

There are many instances where local conditions warrant site specific safety requirements e.g. high temperature working conditions, wildlife considerations, extreme cold, low water availability. These specific conditions are controlled through management supervision, pre-job site hazard assessments and safe work practices implemented to minimize hazards.

Regional safety training courses are conducted to ensure employees use safe working practices and are aware of the risks and mitigation measures applicable to regional conditions. Qualified instructors conduct our training programs.

Falcon Drilling adheres to all local environmental requirements. We ensure these requirements are met to the highest standard through the development of environmental work plans which follow the four principles our environmental management program “Prevention, Compliance, Conservation and Restoration”.
